Review of the 3 Part Series Thus Far

In the wake of all of the hype surrounding the 3 part series of DTBH episodes currently airing on A&E, we have decided to conduct a brief review to determine if the series is living up to expectations. The series starts with a straightforward premise: arrest Marco Padilla. When the initial attempt is unsuccessful, the Chapmans begin digging into Padilla’s family and friends, and the hunt spirals into a quagmire of identity theft and other fugitives who may or may not have useful information. Each lead the Chapmans obtain opens up multiple avenues of investigation, and their search ends up expanding in difficulty beyond any hunt previously aired.

What makes this series unique is how complicated the search becomes and how much the Chapmans’ entire skill set is tested. There is much more action in this series than in most of the previous episodes. In addition, there is increased participation from local law enforcement, the legal system, and local media. Prior to this series, the show was becoming stagnant. Each hunt was predictable and the show was repetitive. This series is much more involved and detailed, and helps inject new life into DTBH. We are aware that as of today, Marco Padilla remains at large. Interestingly, this does not seem to detract from the series. It is still intriguing to follow the Chapmans working a more difficult hunt than their usual fare. We look forward to seeing the concluding episode on Wednesday.

DOG Comments On White Collar Criminals

Marcus Schrenker, a former money manager accused of misleading his investors, is expected to plead guilty on Friday to faking his own death in a plane crash. The occasion has inspired Bloomberg News to take a look at the common mistakes that financiers make when they turn into fugitives.

Neither Mr. Schrenker (pictured above) nor Sam Israel, the hedge fund swindler who staged a suicide, managed to elude the authorities for very long — something Bloomberg chalks up to “lack of preparation for the rigors of life on the lam.”

As Duane Chapman, the star of A&E’s “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” rather poetically put it: “A criminal’s life has nothing but ups and downs, whereas a white-collar criminal has never seen the dark side, so when he enters that realm, he is lost.”

What are the do’s and don’ts for financial types hoping to make themselves disappear?

First of all, faking one’s own death rarely throws the authorities off for long if there’s no body left behind, Bloomberg says. Having lots of cash is essential, and heading for a campground that doesn’t require identification can work, for a time.

Leaving maps behind with certain pages torn out — something Mr. Schrenker reportedly did — certainly doesn’t help.

3 PART DOG MINI SERIES BEGINS WEDNESDAY AT 9PM EST ON A&E

This week, a 3 hour DOG mini-series begins. One fugitive, 3 hours of chasing over 3 weeks of hour long episodes at 9pm EST. We are told by A&E they are 3 of the best DOG episodes ever !!!

DOG AND THE SHOOTING Facts

From our research team. These facts have been backed up by witnesses.

1) DOG did not report the alleged gun shots. The neighbors called the police. This was not the actions of a person looking for media coverage.

2) The Fugitive was wanted for alleged gun crimes.

3) DOG did not want fugitive to face anymore charges. The fugitive was taken into custody and DOG shook his hand.

4) The media came to DOG asking questions.

5) DOG and crew heard a loud bang as did witnesses.

6) The crime scene was swarmed with witnesses as are many scenes
now where DOG and crew are spotted. The site was not taped off by
Police and was not a clean crime scene. Any evidence could have easily vanished.

This clown of a public service asking for charges is way out of line. What a waste of taxpayers money. Let us use his salary for drug programs, rehabs and causes that matter. Not someone seeking a spotlight.

PUBLIC SERVANT USING OUR MONEY TO HARASS THE DOG. TELL HIM WHAT YOU THINK

This was stated by Showe

“What he did to Hoang Nguyen was wrong and illegal and he should be held accountable for it,” Shoewe said. “I’m attempting to seek justice.”

Mr Shoewe is attempting to seek the spotlight. Mr Chapman did not report this crime, Mr Chapman did not try to further the case by cooperating, The crime scene was not taped off, but swarmed by fans. Mr Nguyen was wanted allegedly wanted for a felony involving a firearm. Mr Nguyen had a warrant on him. How can Mr Shoewe claim DOG made a false report. Neither DOG, nor Bobby Brown nor any of the crew called the police. Mr Chapman heard a loud bang as did many bystanders. Clearly, he felt he was being shot at, considering the fugitive was wanted for a firearms offense. There was no false report.

Mr Shoewe is in our opinion wasting Tax Payers money with this frivolous actions. Please continue to contact and email this public servant and his office and make them accountable for the taxpayers money they are wasting.

DOG is helping remove criminals from the street that ran from court, actions that help our society. Mr Shoewe is attacking the very person trying to help us out.

WHAT A WASTE OF PUBLIC MONEY. THIS MAN SHOULD BE FIRED FOR BURNING PUBLIC MONEY.

UPDATED JUNE 2ND.

This article appeared in the press Thursday.

DENVER – A public defender is demanding that TV bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman be charged with felonies for claiming that a man fired a gun at him and his crew while they were filming in Colorado Springs last month.

Attorney William Schoewe alleges Chapman and others made up the claim to boost publicity for the A&E reality show “Dog The Bounty Hunter.” Prosecutors dropped charges against a suspect, saying the evidence was insufficient.
————————————————————-
As a taxpayer, I am outraged by this waste of public money. In tough times, should we not focus on criminals and stop wasting money on people taking criminals off the street.

As stated

DOG nor his posse nor anyone with him called Police/neighbors did

DOG did not provide information to Prosecutors. He wanted to leave this case behind and let the suspect deal with his current charges.

The crime scene was not taped off prior to search, and was swarmed by fans and onlookers.

The Fugitive was wanted by Police for a firearms felony.

REAL FACTS ON RECENT MEDIA REPORTS RE DOG

Real DOG facts (Orignially posted by the DTBH Website Administrator.)

Body: Shooting At Dog Incident.

Few Facts on DOG shooting report. The Media was saying DOG did that for attention.

1) No one from the Posse’ or the show called the Police about the shooting to report it, neighbors did.

2) DOG did not do it for the attention. In fact, he did not respond to requests for a statement as he did not want further charges. Fugitive was caught and it was time to move on

3) The shooting site was not roped off by police or investigators. Fans were all over the place. This was not a clean crime scene. The area was swarming with people

Also, in regards to the vehicle flipping that was being chased by DOG according to media.

1) Again, the media was not accurate. DOG was not driving or following the truck, it was in fact Beth. Odd fact was, this rollover happened on the same date, May 19th, that DOG lost his daughter Barbara a few years ago.
