Watch out, bond skips.

Duane “Dog” Chapman and his wife, Beth, are on the hunt in Hutchinson.

The Chapmans were spotted leaving downtown Wichita’s Ambassador Hotel on Tuesday afternoon, apparently en route to Hutchinson.

By early evening, a growing crowd hoping to catch a glimpse of the “Dog the Bounty Hunter” stars had gathered outside Barb’s Bail Bonds, said Rena Smith, general manager of the Hutchinson-based company.

“There are a couple of specific cases that we want him to help us with. But we’re going to keep them under wraps,” said Smith, who hoped “Dog” would come to Kansas after she met him in February at a national bail bondsman convention in Las Vegas.

JACKSON, MI – Famed bounty hunters and reality television stars Duane “Dog” Chapman and wife Beth Chapman spent most of October 2012 in the Jackson area hunting for then fugitiveRicky Wheeldon.

Details and footage from the Chapmans’ chase will be the basis for the next episode of CMT’s“Dog and Beth: On the Hunt,” which will premiere at 8 p.m. Sunday, May 12.

Wheeldon was eventually apprehended near Leslie by Michigan State Police on Oct. 24, 2012,although he Chapmans say they provided authorities with information helping to pinpoint his whereabouts.

A sneak preview of the upcoming episode is part of the final 30 seconds of the episode that aired on Sunday, May 5. The footage includes Jeff Kirkpatrick of Lodise Bail Bonds in Jackson. The Chapmans used Lodise as the headquarters for their search.

Dog and Beth came to the Jackson area at the request of Leo Urban, owner of Leo’s Bail Bonds in Mason, issuer of the bond for Wheeldon, who eventually fled authorities and was on the lam for five months.

One of the entertainment industry’s longest-running cases has resulted in a settlement, but of course, it can’t end without some additional complication.

A&E Network’s Dan Silberman Weds, ABC Family’s Jennifer Verti Welcomes a Son: Hitched, Hatched, Hired
For six years, Duane “Dog” Chapman has been fighting with Boris Krutonog, an executive producer on the A&E series Dog the Bounty Hunter, over money from the show. The case has touched a New York state court, a New York federal court, a California state court, a Hawaii federal court, the California Labor Commissioner and a California appeals court.
After a marathon of intense litigation, it’s nearly over. Chapman and Krutonog have made up. Or at least it would be almost finished except for the fact that neither has been able to attain the settlement money. After cancelling Dog the Bounty Hunter last year, A&E isn’t quite ready to release millions of dollars from the show that is sitting in a bank

To take a step back, Chapman’s relationship with Krutonog dates back to 1994 to a “Life Story Option Agreement,” whereby Krutonog acquired rights to develop movies and TV shows featuring the bounty hunter.

Eventually, that led to Dog the Bounty Hunter, which premiered in 2004. Krutonog was an early co-executive producer on the series and was entitled to received payments per episode.
Later, a fight broke out between Chapman and Krutonog over money, and the reality star asserted that Krutonog’s role was more of a manager or agent.
For six years, the parties have been fighting in various courtrooms about this.

We’ll spare the full gory details except to say that in 2010, A&E Television Networks filed an interpleader action in New York federal court. The company deposited $4 million of money from Dog the Bounty Hunter with the idea that Chapman and Krutonog would tussle over the funds, and at the end of the battle, it would transfer the money to whomever emerged victorious.
Well, in late March, a federal judge in New York granted Krutonog summary judgment in part, saying a jury couldn’t read the agreement to relieve A&E of the obligation to play Krutonog. (Read the ruling here.) Then, a mediation happened, and Chapman and Krutonog arrived at a settlement. The two figured out a way to divide the $4 million.

A bail bondsman, who will be featured this Sunday on Duane Dog Chapman’s new reality show, is recovering after a violent attack at a New Mexico church.
Gerald Madrid was one of four people stabbed when a man rushed them on Sunday.
According to reports, the choir at St. Jude Thaddeus Church in Albuquerque had just begun their closing hymns when a man jumped over several pews, shouting “Fake preacher!” He then walked over to the choir area and began stabbing members.  Madrid is a popular Albuquerque bail bondsman who will be featured on this Sunday’s (May 5) Dog and Beth: On The Hunt which airs on CMT.
According to reports, Madrid lunged at the suspect Lawrence Capener, who was attempting to stab the choir director.”I instinctively just dropped my flute and I rushed the guy,” said Madrid. “I rushed him. I never saw a knife, but I just rushed him.”  Madrid says one of his stab wounds came about an inch from his spine.
“He should be commended for his courage and his bravery to leap in front of someone like that without any regard for his own safety,” said Dog Chapman.

Dog and Beth Chapman have been in contact with the Madrid family since the stabbing

I have been watching coverage of the Chapman family posted by LALate.

Whoever writes the drivel on this site, would be able to post with at least appearing intelligent if they bothered

to read Twitter and other media accounts. It reminds me of two people sitting on a bus gossiping with no worries

about reality
